Fabric details: 51% Mohair 49% Wool – Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna
“Ermenegildo Zegna Mohair Trophy”, designed by Eberhard Dechow. The Mohair Trophy was set up in 1970 in collaboration with the Mohair Board to encourage South African growers to improve the quality of their Kid Mohair and at the same time secure the best fleeces for Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna.
What Makes This Fabric Stand Out?
- UV Protection: The UV protection factor of wool is 30+ , which makes wool absorb sun rays naturally before it reaches the skin.
- Antibacterial : The thin layer of wool fiber comprises fatty acids which repress the growth of bacteria.
- Temperature Regulation: Superfine Wool offers excellent temperature regulation. It can keep you warm in colder weather and remain breathable and comfortable in warmer conditions.
- Durable: Wool can be bent 20,000 times and still be the same as new without any breakage.
Care Instructions :
- Dry cleaning is typically the safest method for cleaning superfine wool garments.
- Professional dry cleaning helps maintain the fabric’s structure and minimizes the risk of shrinkage or damage.
- Keep them in a cool place and with cedar balls or lavender oil.
- As wool garments tend to collect moisture, therefore cover them with natural material like paper or cloth rather than plastic bags.
