Ritika Chheda has always aimed for excellence throughout her life. She accomplished this by graduating from the prestigious ESSEC Business School where she worked with multinational conglomerates and developed her Business acumen. She continued her career as an Innovation Strategy Consultant in London and worked at the intersection of innovation & sustainability, helping CEOs prepare their business for the future.
It was during this time that she found her true passion lies in making a positive impact on the planet and its people.
During her time in London with Ujjwal, she learned about bespoke tailoring at Savile Row. She discovered that bespoke clothing is the ultimate sustainable choice as it is produced on demand, designed to last and made of quality craftsmanship and fabrics. So, when the opportunity to build Threadsmith arose, she realized she had found her true calling. It was a fulfillment of her lifelong dream to dedicate herself to sustainability and impact the second largest polluting industry. She channelized her spirit of excellence into analyzing consumer behavior and formulating a business case. On noticing the gap in the Indian market for quality bespoke clothing, she decided to fully commit to co-founding Threadsmith with Ujjwal. Threadsmith – Artisanal Tailoring has since benefited from her marketing, branding, and operational/ business expertise.
